Although the board sends out renewal notices as a courtesy, it is your responsibility to ensure that your registration is renewed before its expiry date.

Renewal applications must be lodged at least 2 months before your registration expires to give the board time to process them.

If you do not lodge your application 2 months before expiry, your registration may not be renewed in time and will expire and you will be unable to work.
